In our elementary ministry, kids learn that God loves them no matter what, they can put their trust in Jesus, and what they say and do matters.
Kindness | February 4, 2024 | Week 1
This month we are talking about kindness. Not only did God show us the ultimate kindness by sending Jesus as our savior, but he continues to show us kindness each day in big and small ways. We can reflect his character of kindness to the world around us by how we treat others.
Our Bottom Line this week is: Jesus showed us how to be kind. We will look at multiple stories where Jesus demonstrated kindness to those other people looked down upon. By following Jesus’ example, we can see that our kindness should have no limit!

This month we are talking about kindness. Not only did God show us the ultimate kindness by sending Jesus as our savior, but he continues to show us kindness each day in big and small ways. We can reflect his character of kindness to the world around us by how we treat others.
Our Bottom Line this week is: be kind to the people closest to you. We will look at the story of Ruth and Naomi found in the Old Testament. Even when there were many chances to choose otherwise, Ruth, Naomi, and even Boaz chose to care for their family and show kindness.

This month we are talking about kindness. Not only did God show us the ultimate kindness by sending Jesus as our savior, but he continues to show us kindness each day in big and small ways. We can reflect his character of kindness to the world around us by how we treat others.
Our Bottom Line this week is: be kinder than you have to be. In the gospel of Matthew, Jesus taught to “go the extra mile.” We will all face many circumstances where we have a choice to make: do just what is asked of us or show some extra kindness if we are able. When we remember that Jesus’ kindness has no limit, it can encourage us to live the same way.

This month we are talking about kindness. Not only did God show us the ultimate kindness by sending Jesus as our savior, but he continues to show us kindness each day in big and small ways. We can reflect his character of kindness to the world around us by how we treat others.
This week’s Bottom Line is: be kind to people who are different from you. We will look at a parable Jesus told in Luke, chapter 10, where he taught that our neighbor doesn’t just live next door, but includes everyone we encounter.
