The Hubbard House houses individuals whose family members are undergoing extensive hospital care.

Service Opportunity

Projects include making and serving meals to those who live at the Hubbard House (About 50 people). Dinner is served at 5 p.m. each evening, please bring your own food to prepare. Volunteers cook the food, serve it and clean up afterwards.

Projects include building maintenance, such as pressure washing, washing windows and cleaning carpets. Other opportunities include praying and building relationships with children, reading stories, creating puppet shows, and playing games.

Projects include teaching home economics (invest your knowledge of household skills into the lives of teens who would benefit from this type of practical instruction); playing sports (basketball or volleyball with teenagers who want some friendly competition and need someone to share with them both friendship and the hope of the gospel).

While every ReStore is a little different, most focus on home improvement goods—furniture, home accessories, building materials and appliances. OrlandoMap ItCoalition for the Homeless

Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida has grown from a church outreach program to the largest provider of homeless services in the Orlando region, serving nearly 600 men, women and children on an average night. The Coalition not only provides food and shelter, but is committed to returning homeless individuals and families to self-sufficiency through case management, job training and educational opportunities.

Service Opportunities:

Projects include providing and serving meals to our clients. Groups can serve in our Men’s Pavilion, in our Center for Women and Families, or in our Women’s Residential Counseling Center.
