Base Camp

It’s about kids. Having fun, feeling safe, building relationships, learning about God. And it’s about you. Learning how to come alongside your child and reach their heart for Christ.

We desire church to be one of the best hours of your child’s week. Our army of volunteers arrives each and every Sunday, prepared and excited to see how God will show up in your children’s classrooms. And yet, we don’t want this one hour to be the end-all for your child’s spiritual development. Our volunteers are extrodinary, but we believe that YOU have a special opportunity as a parent to reach the heart of your child. By providing you with material, such as Small Talk cards and magnets that summarize your child’s weekly experiences, we hope to support you in continuing to talk to your child at home about what they learned on Sunday. We strive to do everything we can to be relevant to them on Sunday, and also support you throughout the week.

On Sunday mornings, classrooms open 10 minutes before service starts. This gives you a chance to grab a cup of coffee and a seat in service while your child enjoys connecting with their group leader before the activities begin. And no need to worry, we have a paging system that will notify you during service if your child needs you.
