In our elementary ministry, kids learn that God loves them no matter what, they can put their trust in Jesus, and what they say and do matters.

Creativity | Week 1 | August 6th, 2023

Today our Bible story comes from Genesis 1-2:3, where we hear about the story of creation. When we look at the world around us, we are reminded that God is powerful and creative. He created everything, including us!

Our Bottom Line this week is: God created you so you can be creative. It is our prayer that kids will see how they can reflect the image of God to the world around them when they create.

We hope your whole family will join in as we worship God and hear an amazing, true story from the Bible. After the video, be sure to check out the activity page for ways to connect with your child and keep the conversation going this week.

Creativity | Week 2 | August 13th, 2023

This week we are taking a closer look at our August memory verse, Ephesians 2:10, and what Paul means when he writes that we were created to do good works. Just as Paul encouraged the people of Ephesus that they can demonstrate God’s love to those around them, we can be encouraged to do the same.

Our Bottom Line this week is: God created you for a purpose. God created us to do good things that will make a difference for the people around us.

We hope your whole family will join in as we worship God and hear an amazing, true story from the Bible. After the video, be sure to check out the activity page for ways to connect with your child and keep the conversation going this week.

Creativity | Week 3 | August 20th, 2023

This week we’re reading about the story of Joseph in Genesis 40-41 and how God used Joseph to save all of Egypt. God gave Joseph a special talent and wisdom to help solve a big problem that Egypt faced.

Our Bottom Line this week is: You can use what God gave you to solve problems. Our prayer is that kids will be able to connect with this story and think about how they can use their own God-given talents to solve problems.

We hope your whole family will join in as we worship God and hear an amazing, true story from the Bible. After the video, be sure to check out the activity page for ways to connect with your child and keep the conversation going this week.

Creativity | Week 4 | August 27th, 2023

This week we’re reading from the Old Testament book of Exodus! We are taking a closer look at God’s specific instructions for the tabernacle and how his people worked together to follow them. They used their gifts and their creativity to make the tabernacle a beautiful place for God to dwell.

This week’s Bottom Line is: Use your imagination to honor God. There are many ways we can honor God- with how we solve problems, with how we love others, with how we help those around us, just to name a few! As we wrap up this month, we hope kids will look for ways they can honor God in their own lives.

We hope your whole family will join in as we worship God and hear an amazing, true story from the Bible. After the video, be sure to check out the activity page for ways to connect with your child and keep the conversation going this week.
