Faith
In our elementary ministry, kids learn that God loves them no matter what, they can put their trust in Jesus, and what they say and do matters.
Faith | Week 1 | July 2, 2023
We’re starting off the month in Ephesians 2:8-9 where we read about the gift of God’s grace. When it comes to faith in God, everything — especially God’s gift of grace through Jesus — is a gift of love, and all we have to do is accept it.
Our Bottom Line this week is: Jesus is a gift for everyone. We hope and pray this simple, powerful truth will sink into the hearts of kids. There’s nothing anyone has to do to earn their salvation.
We hope your whole family will join in as we worship God and hear an amazing, true story from the Bible. After the video, be sure to check out the activity page for ways to connect with your child and keep the conversation going this week.
Faith | Week 2 | July 9, 2023
This week we’re catching up with Paul in Acts 16:16-40. Even though Paul and Silas faced a difficult situation, they leaned into the power of faith and chose to have joy, and God showed up in a big way.
Our Bottom Line this week is: God can help you find joy. Life can get really tough, and we may struggle with what it means to have joy during difficult times. We’re praying kids will discover that joy isn’t something that they need to figure out on their own, but that they can trust God to help them choose joy no matter what.
We hope your whole family will join in as we worship God and hear an amazing, true story from the Bible. After the video, be sure to check out the activity page for ways to connect with your child and keep the conversation going this week.
Faith | Week 3 | July 16, 2023
This week we’re reading Acts 27:1–28:10. Paul was traveling by ship to Rome to stand trial, but he and the entire crew were shipwrecked on the journey. This was a major setback, but Paul knew he could trust God no matter what.
Our Bottom Line this week is: When bad things happen, God is with you. We know that life won’t always be easy, and in hard times it helps to remember that God is always present. We don’t have to go through difficult things on our own, and understanding that can change the way we see our problems. We can trust God no matter what and have faith that we don’t have to face our challenges alone.
We hope your whole family will join in as we worship God and hear an amazing, true story from the Bible. After the video, be sure to check out the activity page for ways to connect with your child and keep the conversation going this week.
Faith | Week 4 | July 23, 2023
This week we’re headed to Hebrews 10:23-25 to discover the importance of meeting with other followers of Jesus. We’re encouraged to hold onto our faith in Jesus, keep meeting together, and encourage others in the church to do the same.
This week’s Bottom Line is: Our faith is stronger together. God created us for relationships, and life is better when we have someone to share it with. When we surround ourselves with people who follow Jesus, our own faith can grow stronger.
We hope your whole family will join in as we worship God and hear an amazing, true story from the Bible. After the video, be sure to check out the activity page for ways to connect with your child and keep the conversation going this week.
Faith | Week | July 30, 2023
We’re finishing this month in Revelation 21:3- 5a, with something John wrote toward the end of his life. While he was exiled on a remote island for prisoners, he had a vision of an incredible future, even better than we could understand. We know that God is making all things new, and because of Jesus, we get to experience life forever with God.
This week’s Bottom Line is: God will make everything right in the end. Our prayer is that your kids will catch a glimpse of what life can be like when they follow Jesus. We may not understand it all, but we can have faith that it will be amazing as God is making all things new!
We hope your whole family will join in as we worship God and hear an amazing, true story from the Bible. After the video, be sure to check out the activity page for ways to connect with your child and keep the conversation going this week.
