Gratitude

In our elementary ministry, kids learn that God loves them no matter what, they can put their trust in Jesus, and what they say and do matters.

Gratitude | November 5, 2023 | Week 1

This month we are talking all about gratitude, letting others know you see how they’ve helped you. All throughout the Bible we see examples of God’s people giving thanks to him. As we dive in each week, it is our hope that kids will learn to be grateful for everything God has done, in their lives and in the world around them!

Our Bottom Line this week is: you always have something to be grateful for. As we unpack 1 Thessalonians 5:18, we want kids to recognize that even when hard things happen (and they will happen), they can still give thanks to God for his goodness and faithfulness.

We hope your whole family will join in as we worship God and hear an amazing, true story from the Bible. After the video, be sure to check out the activity page for ways to connect with your child and keep the conversation going this week.

Gratitude | November 12, 2023 | Week 2

This month we are talking all about gratitude, letting others know you see how they’ve helped you. All throughout the Bible we see examples of God’s people giving thanks to him. As we dive in each week, it is our hope that kids will learn to be grateful for everything God has done, in their lives and in the world around them!

Our Bottom Line this week is: celebrate what God has done. We will look in the book of 2 Samuel to see how David danced in front of everyone to celebrate all God had done. He wasn’t worried about what others thought; he just wanted to thank God! We can be like David and celebrate what God has done in our own lives.

We hope your whole family will join in as we worship God and hear an amazing, true story from the Bible. After the video, be sure to check out the activity page for ways to connect with your child and keep the conversation going this week.

Gratitude | November 19, 2023 | Week 3

This month we are talking all about gratitude, letting others know you see how they’ve helped you. All throughout the Bible we see examples of God’s people giving thanks to him. As we dive in each week, it is our hope that kids will learn to be grateful for everything God has done, in their lives and in the world around them!

Our Bottom Line this week is: take time to say thank you. We all have many people in our lives that we can express our gratitude towards. But even though we may feel grateful for them, sometimes we forget to actually show it. As we look at the story of the ten men Jesus healed, it is our prayer that kids will learn the importance of saying thank you.

We hope your whole family will join in as we worship God and hear an amazing, true story from the Bible. After the video, be sure to check out the activity page for ways to connect with your child and keep the conversation going this week.
